Remote working roles are in demand

A move towards remote working could be the new normal, LinkedIn data suggests, with job searches for remote work up 60% globally since March. Several major firms have already indicated a permanent shift, with Shopify saying it plans to go “digital first” and keep offices shut until 2021 and UBS saying a third of its 70,000 employees could go remote for good. Remote job postings have risen rapidly on LinkedIn and in the UK, views of such jobs on LinkedIn are more than twice as high as they were in March, with applications for these roles up 189%.
